ID Vinyl Vehicle Graphics

We went with a two-color graphic that ties in with our website and business card look. As a test, we’ve installed this vinyl graphic with a layer of static-cling vinyl underneath the standard vinyl colors. This enables the graphic to be easily removed and re-applied anytime. We’ve had requests for this kind of install in the past, and it works pretty well for people who might need to move their graphics between vehicles, want to use vinyl to promote something on their car for a short period of time.

Evan’s Salty Nuts Branding

A friend of ours got tired of all the filler stuff in trail mix, as he only really liked the cashews and M&Ms. So at some point he started buying bulk quantities of cashews and M&Ms and mixing them together as his snack mix. Over the course of a couple years, this mix has become known as Evan’s Salty Nuts. This year for his birthday, we designed a logo and put together a little branding kit for him, including an Evan’s Salty Nuts jar full of M&Ms and cashews, a scoop, a dish, shirts for everyone at the party, and of course a bunch of stickers.

We’ve been so busy cutting vinyl this winter that we really haven’t had a chance to keep the blog updated. Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be getting photos posted of the work we’ve done over the past couple of months, and we’ll be introducing the new ID store, making it easier than ever to get awesome ID products for your car, truck, boat, bike, laptop, or whatever.

October Projects

In addition to working on the online store portion of the site, October kept us busy with tons of die-cut stickers plus a few large banner orders. Here’s a selection of some of our recent work.

The H1 Solutions banners and stickers was a big project, and it turned out amazing. I’m also really partial to the Young Alaskans banner, as that blue background makes it stand out, and the whale tail logo is pretty rad.

Forum of Young Alaskans Banners

The Forum of Young Alaskans takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2008. We’ve done several projects for them so far, but this has by far been the most fun. We really enjoyed designing and creating these banners, and I think they show off the level of detail and quality you can obtain with vinyl banners.

We also created the Forum of Young Alaskans “event pointers.” These are 2′x3′ posterboard signs for the Forum with an 8″x20″ arrow that’s attached using velcro so it can point in either direction.

September Custom Stickers

Die-cuts for Forum of Young Alaskans

We recently did a series of die-cut vinyl stickers for The Forum of Young Alaskans.

Psychostick Vehicle Window

We’ve had a pile of really cool sticker projects on moving through our shop lately, and this is one of them. Our client on this one wanted a large Psychostick logo for the back window of their car, but they wanted it to be reusable.

Vinyl die-cut stickers can be many things, but they aren’t easily reusable. For this application, we layered the graphics onto a layer of clear static cling vinyl. Static cling vinyl is cool stuff, there’s no adhesive, but it will adhere to a clean, smooth surface, for a good long time, while allowing for easy removal for application onto another vehicle.
